Hand-drawn diagram explaining ionic, covalent, and hydrogen bonds with labeled atoms and descriptions.

Topic: Draw and label each of the following: an ionic bond, a covalent bond, and a hydrogen bonds. When labeling, include a short phrase about how the atoms are interacting with one another such as, "electrons are being shared". Directions/Rubric: Using a pencil, pen, crayon, or a combination of those, draw and label each bond type above. Your drawings can be simple conceptual drawings or real examples. Just please no digital art. This must be hand drawn and labeled on paper. We are practicing this way since my exams will ask you to do the same (draw and/or label directly on the exam paper I hand you. Once you are satisfied with your drawing, write your name very clearly on your drawing/s. This is important so that I can verify it is your own work and can give you points. Post a photo of your work as a reply to this discussion board. Once you have posted, your work will be visible to other students and you will be able to see the rest of your peers' work too. You do not have to reply to anyone but feel free to view others' work. Keep these in a binder or folder to study throughout the semester and in case I ask you to bring any one of them in to verify that you were the one to create it on paper. See more
