create A series of infographics that communicate innovations and tech that allows the halo trust to work safer, faster and cost effectively. These are our four key focus areas for the tech strategy: Location – Using drones, satellites and AI to identify where mines are so we only clear land that is actually contaminated. This will result in less time being wasted on inefficient methods of survey previously used, and further allow for more precise targeting. Detection – Using new sensor mechanisms that can indicate the difference between real explosives and scrap metal. Excavation – Replacing manual digging with small semi-automated machines which are much safer and faster at excavating. Information – Giving teams the digital tools (apps, dashboards, data, automation and integration) so deminers/staff can plan and track clearance more efficiently. See more
