an art exhibition in a 625 square foot space that is essentially square, this is what the exhibition looks like: A large 8-foot tall sculpture combining figurative elements of the Virgin Mary and larger-than-life earthworms, the texture of this sculpture is very soft and fleshy. The figures have soft edges and appear very supple and fleshy. Surrounding this central sculpture are glowing 3-foot-tall prebuilt planters shaped like earthworm eggs, softly illuminated from within with warm light. The planters contain soil and visible earthworms. Black cords run from the planters to headphones placed on stands nearby, allowing people to listen to recorded sounds within the soil. At the center of the space is a shallow baptismal pool of water with smooth, accessible edges, reflecting the warm glow of the planters. The walls are bathed in ethereal, flowing pink and orange light projections featuring videos of earthworms that create a larger-than-life immersive atmosphere. The overall space has a tactile, organic, and sacred ambiance. The dominant colors are white, pink, and orange. The style and biomorphic aesthetics are inspired by H.R. Giger, blending organic surrealism with soft textures. See more
