solar mount is to use a pair of 180 ° inter‑locking discs on top of the main pole: Upper disc: fixed to the solar‑panel frame. Lower disc: fixed to the pole‑top adaptor. Mating teeth/serrations every 10 ° (or a simple hole + pin pattern) allow the upper disc to rotate through a full 180 ° sweep before clamping. This would let us swing the panel until it points precisely to true North, then lock it in place with two M8 clamp bolts.
