New Brunswick doesn’t get talked about much, but it’s actually got some wild stuff going on. It has the highest tides in the world — like, ocean water rising over 50 feet. You can walk on the ocean floor, and a few hours later, you can literally kayak over it. There’s this place called Hopewell Rocks — giant rocks shaped like mushrooms. They look totally different depending on the tide. It’s like two places in one. You can see 13 kinds of whales there too, including one of the rarest in the world — the North Atlantic right whale. About 80% of the province is just forest. That means tons of waterfalls, hiking spots, and really good fall views. It’s also the only officially bilingual province in Canada — English and French are both used everywhere, and a lot of towns speak both. There’s this hill called Magnetic Hill where your car looks like it’s rolling uphill on its own. It’s just an optical illusion — but it really messes with your brain. In a small town called Minto, there are underground fires that have been burning for years. The ground actually stays warm in the winter. Oh, and one more — there’s a road that plays “O Canada” when you drive over it. Like actual music, from your tires. New Brunswick’s definitely more interesting than people think. See more
