Designers rely on their knowledge of the script/story and their abilities to research to create believable pieces for the stage. We will be using our experience with Disney's Aladdin to inform our design decisions for the lobby and the house. You have been provided the building schematics for those spaces and they are also attached below. Create four (4) drawings--a ground plan and front rendering for each space. and they should reflect your creativity and understanding of the story in the design creation. Use color and detail to express your ideas (color in front elevations only). No lined paper. This is a SUMMATIVE grade, so take your time and submit your best work. Requirements Make lists with what you think ought to be in each design space--separate lists for the Lobby and Auditorium Windows. Include the types of props (ex--market tables/chairs, dark-coloured flags), furniture, photo spots, posters, etc. Also consider what types of colors, fabrics, textures you might want to use in both spaces. You can draw your ground plan onto the schematic, if it makes design easier for you. Be sure to label your items. Consider the layout of your space (lobby, windows) and the functionality.
