I would like a pen-and-ink sketch of the traffic back-up at a toll-booth. The intention is to illustrate traffic-jams caused by bottlenecks This is seen from above the exit side to the booth, so you can see traffic in and out for quite a distance On the right is a two lane highways with light traffic going away from the viewer. On the left is a two-lane highway that widens out into an 8-lane toll plaza. Back on the two-lane part, there is light traffic. In the toll plaza, however, traffic is stopped in a queue in each lane behind the toll-booth, for about half the length of the toll plaza. Coming out is of the toll booths is light traffic, in the form of a small scatter of cars. See more
