Based on my client's needs and wants and existing products on the market, I intend to design a cat toy that engages and gets the cats attention instead of the furniture. I want the toy to have an interactive feature which can make sounds. Furthermore, I will design a product that may engage the cat's natural hunting instincts. I also want my product to get the attention of the cat for long periods of time. I will achieve this by adding some form of compartment to add some catnip to keep the cat engaged. This product is built for durability and be long lasting whilst adding a touch of personalization and design based on the clients wants. I would further like to use a minimalistic look for my product with a matte finish. I plan to use recyclable materials that do not harm the environment. Furthermore, I would also like to use non-toxic and completely safe to use products for safety reasons for the cat. I will also make sure the product has a strong build, so nothing breaks off and try to assemble it with as less pieces as possible. It will also be ergonomic so easy to handle, fill with cat treats and easy to clean for the owner. See more
