Create a picture based on this poem. Twelve men went walking through bushes and trees, Past rivers and rocks and big bumblebees. They peeked into Canaan, they spied on the land, With fruit in their arms and fear close at hand. “The grapes are like pumpkins!” said one with a shout. “But giants are there — they’ll toss us right out!” They ran back to camp with their eyes full of dread, And filled all the people with worry and spread. “The land is too scary! The cities too tall! We can’t take that land — not us, not at all!” But Caleb and Joshua stood up and cried, “God promised this land — He’s right on our side!” Yet the people all grumbled, their hearts full of doubt, They whined and complained and started to pout. “Could He? Would He?” they questioned with fear, “Make us a path when the giants are near?” They forgot all the plagues, and the sea split in two, Forgot how God led them — forgot what He’d do! They stayed in the desert, they turned from the land, Though God could have led them with His mighty hand. So remember this tale when you’re faced with a test: God’s plans are the safest, His ways are the best! When fear starts to whisper and doubts come your way, Ask, "Could He? Would He?" — then trust and obey! See more
