Draw two setdilth sticks. Each stick is formed from a young willow limb split lengthwise through the diameter of the limb's end. Each stick is a one foot long. Two split limbs are the setdith sticks. The first should be resting on the flat side and displaying the rounded side that retains the bark of the willow. Young willow bark is generally smooth and thin on young shoots and branches, often with colors ranging from brown to red, yellow, or purple. The second should be resting on the rounded side and displaying the flat side. The flat side has a broad diagonal charcoal mark across the center.
