Potassium hexacyanoferrate (III) (K3Fe(CN)6), potassium hex-acyanoferrate (II) (K4Fe(CN)6), potassium chloride (KCl, 99 %), carbon ink, and uric acid(99 %) were procured from Sigma-Aldrich. Tereph-thalic acid (C8H6O4, 98 %), D-fructose (99 %), L-ascorbic acid (99 %), dimethylformamide (DMF, 99.8 %), double-distilled water, sodium hy-droxide (NaOH, 99 %), nickel (II) nitrate hexahydrate (Ni(NO3)2⋅6H2O, 99 %), cerium (III) nitrate hexahydrate (Ce(NO3)3⋅6H2O, 98.5 %), D- (+)-glucose monohydrate (C6H12O6. H2O, 99.5 %) and sucrose (C12H22O11, 99 %) were obtained from Merck. L(+)-lactic acid (88–92 %) was acquired from Scharlab.
