Dipping into Ceramic Slurry A sketch showing the wax model being dipped into a liquid ceramic coating, with a label like “ceramic slurry.” Ceramic Shell Drying The wax model fully coated in a hardened ceramic shell—this can be a cross-section to show the wax inside the shell. Wax Removal A diagram showing the wax being melted out (usually an arrow and “heat” label), leaving a hollow shell. Metal Pouring An illustration of molten metal being poured into the ceramic mould—can be as simple as a crucible and arrows.
