Neighbors wrestling with snowblowers that wouldn’t start. Doctors stranded in their driveways. Critical workers, the people this city relies on, unable to get to their jobs. That’s when it hit me: the snow wasn’t just an inconvenience. It was stopping the very people this city depends on. So, I grabbed a shovel, and on that morning, while I was clearing a walkway, a nurse stepped outside with a cup of coffee and laughed. “You’re like a snow doctor,” she said. “Making house calls.” That name stuck and so did the mission. That winter, Med-City Snow Doctors was born. Not just a business, but a service for the people who serve others. For the nurses, techs, doctors, and staff working long hours who can’t afford to be late or snowed in, not in a city like Rochester.
