Please design my 1930s living room, I’d like inspiration for wall paper or wall colour and picture frame layouts. There is a large fireplace (tiled dark green) with a painted white mantelpiece surround. Opposite there is a low backed 1960s style green sofa and in the bay window to the left of the fireplace there is a large beige and Olive green striped sofa with chunky cushions. Either side of the fireplace there are alcoves, each with two fitted shelves of books high up. On the right alcove there is a brute ai desk and a 60s red leather armchair in front of it. The rug is abstract yellow with grey circles - above the fireplace hand three oblong letter press trays with Nick backs in. See more
