Jeremy Robard is a Vice City based con artist who, in 1984, runs an import and export business out of the city where clients can lease out boats to take cargo to and from a nearby island base. The business, however, is implied to be running drugs and, two years later, admits to having been in jail possibly through this business. By 1986 he had established the "Think Your Way to Success" self-help program, a three-step program to get people thinking in a more positive fashion. The names of the tapes, however, reveal another connection to drugs. Robard exaggerates the success he is finding with his self help video tapes and states that, when he goes out, he can choose the car he wants to drive. Maurice, however, later tells the listeners that he lives in a small apartment overlooking the gas works and Robard himself admits to frequently using taxis when telling Maurice that the taxi drives "love you".
