Lens” (or “Through Time-Tinted Glasses”) ⸻ 🧠 Core Idea A pair of interactive glasses that represent how technology and perception shape our sense of time, hope, and reality. When you wear them, you see the world through a rose-tinted digital filter — soft, ideal, utopian. When you remove them, the natural light floods in — representing truth, reality, and human hope. You shape time and mood simply by deciding when to wear or remove them. The artefact challenges people: 👉 Would you rather live in a perfect illusion, or face the real world with its light and flaws? Transhumanism: • Humans using technology (glasses, AR lenses) to control perception and emotion. • Raises questions about dependence on enhancement tools. Utopianism: • The “rose-tinted” filter symbolises a perfected vision of life. • Removing the glasses = real utopia — light, hope, acceptance. Shaping Time: • Wearing the glasses slows perceived time (dreamlike). • Removing them re-awakens real time — sharp, bright, alive. • Time is felt differently through emotional and visual experience.
