A mother and her 6-year-old son are visiting a museum. They are in a room with several sculpted busts on pedestals. They stand on white square cubes of slightly different heights. The sculptures are made of plaster and marble. They depict detailed heads with faces, neck, shoulders, and the upper part of the chest, of people who lived around 1650 to 1850. With one exception, one of the heads is sci-fi, hi-tech, mech, cyborg head, ultra-detailed with wires, cables, and organic-like plates. This one is also made of plaster but has a "human gaze" despite that. Similar to the other busts in the room. The little boy stares intently at just that head and ignores the others. The mother tries to pull the boy into another room. (The idea is that the boy finds everything old boring but is immediately fascinated by the technology and futuristic imagination in the hi-tech bust). See more
