Runes scrawl scross the dwarf's brow, and across the bridge of his bulbous nose, over his cheekbones and disappear into a ginger beard, reappearing under his ears and extending down the sides of his neck. The tattooed runes are the color of dried blood, against flesh the color of a darkening sky he had never seen, the beard and receding hair reddish, greying, streaked with inky black dye.
