draw each step Step 1: Prepare your materials Take a large sheet of multi-media paper. Have a pencil, eraser, and a ruler ready. Leave enough space around the page, because some vanishing points may be outside the drawing area. Step 2: Choose your objects and scene Decide on a group of objects found indoors or outdoors (real or imaginary). Examples: boxes, buildings, furniture, crates, towers, etc. Make sure: Some objects are at eye level Some objects overlap (chevauchent) others Some edges are parallel Step 3: Draw the horizon line Lightly draw a horizontal line across the page. This line represents eye level (hauteur des yeux). Step 4: Place the two vanishing points On the horizon line, place: Vanishing Point 1 (Point de fuite 1) on the left Vanishing Point 2 (Point de fuite 2) on the right These points can be far apart or even outside the paper. Step 5: Draw the basic shapes (lightly) Start with one object: Draw a vertical edge first. Use the ruler to draw lines from the top and bottom of that edge toward both vanishing points. Repeat this process for other objects. Make sure: Some objects overlap Some edges stay parallel Keep everything light in pencil. Step 6: Add details Add doors, windows, textures, or smaller shapes. Maintain the two-point perspective by always connecting horizontal edges to the correct vanishing point. Step 7: Add shadows Choose one vanishing point for the shadows. Draw shadows projected onto surfaces using that point. Make sure all shadows go in See more
