The National Association of Realtors® (N.A.R.) Code of Ethics preamble states “Under all is the land". This statement gives significance to the real estate profession. It indicates the broad expanse of individuals, businesses, and industries that real estate encompasses. The generally accepted value of just residential real estate in the United States is above $30 trillion. The real estate business involves the process of buying, selling, and leasing of real estate. These processes involve many aspects of our economy. The real estate professional is the one providing the expertise, guidance, and counsel for this process to occur, whether it is residential or commercial properties. You will become aware in this course of the real estate processes and be able to apply for and pass a state exam that will lead to becoming a licensed real estate professional. This licensure has a significant impact on the lives of the clients and customers you will represent. Remember, there is not a business or industry that doesn’t have some part to play in the real estate industry. The real estate professional leads the way, but “Under all is the land.” See more
