Xels is tall, slender and graceful. He has purple eyes with no pupil or sclera, speckled with tiny blue and red flecks. He has 5 blue gems set into his skin, and the skin around them glows pink and gold (they are: under his left eye, over his heart, on his left hip, behind his left ear, and on his left arm). He has golden hair that is shorter and rougher on the right ride, and more flowey and fluffy on the left. His ears narrow into long feathers at the tips, and he has several piercings along the bottom. He also has a silver tongue. In celestial form, he has a bright halo surrounding his head, four colorful and sparkly wings, and his gems glow. He wears fingerless gloves, soft lace-up boots, a nice shirt, and an easy-fitting skirt. He has a black robe with a hood, many secret pockets, and poison sewed into parts of it.
