I'm looking for a tattoo idea that embodies my love for the outdoors - specifically hiking in the mountains, surrounded by trees, and my love for nature. I want it to be black and white and simple linework. It can use hatches and stippling. It can also have bird silhouettes incorporated. It should be about 6" in size to fit on my forearm. I want it to be more abstract and almost in an architectural style. I do not want any paths or rivers, and no people. I prefer a geometric design without borders. It doesn't have to be symmetrical but I want it to be a balanced image. The tree can either be a single tree, or a grouping of trees. I want the tree(s) to be the centerpiece. The tattoo is about balance, grounding, and love of nature. The birds do not have to be simple V-shapes. They can have a slight realism to them but still be silhouettes. Ideally, the branches and birds would be breaking the implied border of the tattoo. If the tree(s) want to have roots below a strong groundline, those roots can also break the implied border of the tattoo. See more
