My coat of arms shows what’s important to me. The guitar in the top left is for my love of music, which helps me show who I am and stay connected to my culture. The family photo in the bottom right shows how important my Haitian and Dominican family is to me, which makes me feel like I belong. In the middle, the Haitian and Dominican flags are crossed to show I’m proud of both cultures. On the sides, there's a dove for peace and a maple leaf to show I’m Canadian and that I like when everyone is included. My motto, "Unity in Diversity," means I think we're stronger when we're different and that it's cool to have lots of identities. This all shows how my hobbies, family, and being Canadian make me who I am, and that my culture and interests are just as important as where I’m from. See more
