Hatshepsut is shown in traditional male pharaoh attire: Nemes headdress, false beard, and shendyt kilt. Her body is slim and idealised, blending masculine royal power with subtle feminine features. In both hands, she holds an incense burner filled with myrrh pods, stylised as smoke rising upward, carved in swirling patterns and painted light blue. At her feet: a small basket of incense trees, referencing the 31 trees from Punt. 🔹 Symbols Included: Ankh in her belt = symbol of life. Cartouche of Hatshepsut carved on the statue’s base.
