As dawn painted Frostberry Hollow in soft pinks and golds, the siblings awoke to a shimmering sight — delicate flowers glowing softly in the morning light. Mallowyn stepped forward, her caramel eyes wide with wonder. “These are Crystal Blooms,” she whispered. “Rare flowers born from the magic of the Hollow itself. Their petals hold pure energy — a gift to those who protect this land.” Abi carefully touched a petal, feeling a spark of warmth and power flow through her fingers. “Could this help us against Bitterbella’s frost?” Darellin nodded. “The Crystal Bloom’s magic can strengthen shields and heal wounds more swiftly. But their power must be respected — taken too much, and the bloom fades.” As the group gathered Crystal Blooms to carry with them, a sudden chill swept through the clearing. The candy stars above flickered uncertainly. From the shadows stepped a sharp, twisting figure — a Sour Snapdragon, one of Queen Bitterbella’s most cunning minions. Its eyes glowed with sour fire, and its thorny petals dripped with icy venom. The Snapdragon hissed, “The queen’s frost is coming. Prepare, sweet ones, for the candy will soon turn to ice.” With a swirl of bitter frost, it vanished as quickly as it appeared, leaving only a whisper of warning in the air.
