HBO Max’s library was a major draw for so many and the fact remains people were confident in HBO Max because Warner largely owns its vast library and the partnerships they had for streaming rights appeared more solid than Netflix’s. Now that their new Evil Overlord president has basically killed off credibility for this, I have to say it. Zaslav has outdated views and currently unparalleled stingyness by placing profit over consumers. That is not to say I am unsympathetic with the idea of him wanting to emphasize theatrical films again, though he is killing WB’s news, video game development, television, and most alarmingly streaming when many of those sectors are what propped up WB from pure financial downtrending when the pandemic hit. Zaslav is Mr. Krabs if Krabs ran a multibillion dollar entertainment enterprise. I am worried for the future of everything under WB. I am worried HBO Max will further removing shows from their catalogue because of tax write offs thus making the shows more unavailable to the masses. I am worried for scripted television as Zaslav essentially want WB streaming to make things like Shark Week now and forever. I am worried about the animation industry and there is a huge possibility of CN being shut down by Zaslav, a huge blow when Netflix already kicked animation in the balls. I am worried about the news as CNN has credibility its name unlike SOME news channels that arent impartial by a long shot. I am even worried about the quality of movies that See more
