I'm staging a production of Mother Courage and Her Children in the Playhouse theatre at QPAC, Australia. Following Brecht's theatre theory conventions, I want the set to be a blank slate, white. The floor is painted white, and so is the back wall. 3 large, rectangular slabs of glass hang celing-to-floor, facing the audience (almost like the glass screens in Dear Evan Hansen) place Mother Courage's wagon - don't worry about any other props, and don't place any characters on the stage. The wagon should be large, and placed in front centre stage.
