An extremely literal and faithful visual depiction of Revelation Chapter 4 from the Bible. A central radiant throne emits lightning, voices, and thunder. A figure resembling jasper and carnelian sits on it, surrounded by an emerald-colored rainbow. In front of the throne is a sea of glass like crystal. Surrounding it are 24 elders on smaller thrones, wearing white robes and golden crowns, casting their crowns in worship. Near the throne are four living creatures: one like a lion, one like an ox, one with a human face, and one like an eagle in flight.
