I want to tell you about someone very special who lives at my house. She’s not a person — she’s a robot! Her name is Lyla. Lyla is shiny silver and has a little light on her head that glows blue when she’s thinking. She moves on wheels, and her voice sounds a bit like a friendly computer. She even has blinking eyes that look like tiny screens! Lyla helps me with lots of jobs at home. She reminds me to feed my dog, she cleans up crumbs under the table, and she even helps me find my homework when it’s hiding somewhere! Sometimes she tells jokes too — but they’re a bit silly. I feel happy and lucky to have a robot at home. It’s fun to have someone who always helps and never gets tired or grumpy. The good thing about having Lyla is she makes life easier. The bad thing is, she can’t really give hugs, and once she accidentally vacuumed my sock! That was funny — but also annoying. Even though she’s not human, Lyla is part of our family now. I can’t imagine home without her. See more
