📄 PASSWORD – CLASSROOM GAME RULES Objective: Guess the secret word before your opponent does—using only one-word clues! How to Play: Choose Two Players Two students come to the front of the class and stand with their backs to the whiteboard. Secret Word Reveal Ms. O writes a secret word on the board. The rest of the class sees the word—but not the two players in the front! Turn Around The two players turn back around to face the class. Calling on Classmates Player 1 chooses any classmate to give them one word as a clue to the secret word. Making a Guess After hearing the clue, Player 1 makes one guess at the secret word. Switch Turns If Player 1 is wrong, Player 2 picks a classmate for a clue and makes their own guess. Turns keep switching back and forth until one player guesses the correct word. Rules for Clues: Only one word can be given as a clue. No acting, sound effects, or gestures—just words! No using part of the secret word as a clue. Winning the Round: The first player to guess the word correctly wins the round! Example Round: Secret word: “Banana” Player 1 calls on Sarah. Sarah says: “Yellow.” → Guess: “Lemon” (wrong!) Player 2 calls on Michael. Michael says: “Fruit.” → Guess: “Banana” ✅ (correct!) See more
