Instructions Designing a Synagogue You are now going to use the information in this lesson to design your own synagogue. While you many use your favourite internet browser to help you complete your research, do not copy any information. Make sure your work is your own. Your picture must contain all the elements found in a traditional synagogue: 1. Cantor 2. Ark 3. Torah 4. Eternal Light 5. Pointer 6. Menorah Rabbi 7. Bimah 8. Israeli Flag All these elements should be clearly labeled. These labels must be briefly explained either on the picture itself or by making use of a legend. Write a brief point form description of what they are and/or what they are used for. Please remember: You will be marked on effort and creativity, not necessarily on your artistic ability. Use of a pencil, a ruler and colour may be all you need to demonstrate your best work. See more
