I need a photo for a new website -- Grandpa John's Shop -- the photo will be at the top of the home page and should be landscape format clear across the browser window. I'd like me (from picture with blue hat) standing behind the counter of an early 1800's small shop. The wall behind me shows lots of books and some piles of t-shirts on the back counter with several hanging on the back wall. On the counter is an old fashioned gold cash register with keys facing the back of the counter and $4.95 showing in the window and my dog buddy. PutBuddy to the left (facing the counter) sitting up at an angle with his head towards front center. The front of the counter has a poster that says,"Too Many Books, Too Little Time" in an old font, the floor is worn wooden. Also on the wall is an old clock with the pendulum hanging down. Lights are on wires hanging from the ceiling. The ceiling is made up of square metal panels as was the custom back then. A pot bellied stove with stove pipe in one area with 2 wooden rocking chairs next to it. On the counter is a large old-fashioned ceramic water jug (Not picher) with a ladle sitting on it. Also on the counter is an old fashioned gold cash register.The counter top should be polished wood but very worn. The front of the counter should be vertical wooden slats, polished but worn with a brass rail in front for customers to put their foot on while standing there.
