This picture is of a stage set as seen from the dress circle so not too close up. You can see the top and sides of the stage's proscenium arch. On stage on the left there is a hospital bed with a patient lying down in it but they are largely covered with blankets so you can only see the outline of their sleeping body and their face is turned away from the audience. There is a visitor seated next to the bed on the right on a small plastic chair with metal legs. The visitor is an attractive young woman about 35 with ash blonde hair in a pony tail, wearing jeans, and sitting in the chair. The visitor is talking to the patient, even though the patient is facing away. The stage is mainly dark apart from the dimly illuminated bed and the slightly less dimly illuminated visitor. See more
