But buddha remembers how kandata once showed a moment of kindness by not killing a small spider. believing this one good act should be rewarded, buddha decides to give kandata a second chance as he slowly but gently lowers single silver spider thread down into hell. In the dark burning abyss of hell, kandata sees the spider thread lowering from the sky. Eagarto escape, he grabs onto the thread and begins to climb. At first, he feels hope for the first time in a while. The higher he climbs the farther the hellish lands get away from him. Suddenly, he starts to hear the other souls beneath him climbing up the thread. Scared that there wight might break the singular spider string, Kandata screams at them to let go. In that moment, the thread snapped not because of the weight but because of kandata selfishness. He falls all the way back into hell. The story ends with buddha looking down sadly from paradise.
