A plastic rod was manufactured to lock in place above the media preparation vessel and lowered into the media preparation bag through the open port on the top of the bag. To this rod was attached a submergible DO probe at the bottom with a final position just above the bag impeller. Three thermocouples for temperature measurement were used. One was attached to the bottom of the rod, another at the mid-point between the bottom of the rod and the liquid surface, and a third within a floating 3D-printed collar around the rod. See more
