Chipper the Chimp was designed to be the “Fun-Time Playmate” of the Jungle Zone — a play area full of rope bridges, ball pits, and artificial trees. He stands at about 6’4”, with lanky arms that almost reach the ground, covered in patchy, synthetic brown fur that’s slightly matted from years of neglect. His face is smooth plastic — a pale beige mask molded into a permanent grin, with round, cartoonishly large blue eyes that flicker between states of brightness. His teeth, however, are oddly human — yellowed, chipped, and uneven. His joints whir and stutter, giving him jerky, unpredictable movements. His torso plating has a faded yellow banana logo and his “belly speaker” occasionally crackles with distorted carnival music. When in shadow, his grin catches just enough light to look too wide.
