A dark, biomorphic ceramic sculpture with a twisting, muscular form. The surface is rich brown clay, ridged and folded like hardened flesh or volcanic rock. Openings and cavities reveal glowing, metallic interiors — smooth, reflective orbs in deep green and turquoise that shimmer like oil or abalone shell. The sculpture appears alive, almost predatory: its upper section unfurls into a wide, gaping mouth lined with long, ivory-like teeth and surrounded by spined ridges. The overall structure coils upward in a spiralling motion, as if something subterranean or oceanic has erupted into air.
