Native women on a tropical beach watch a sailing galleon arrive.

The scenario is summer in the year 1500. The setting is a beach on an undeveloped Caribbean island, lush rain forests can be seen to the east. Several From their point of view, the women, 1500s natives of the Caribbean island, are observing the arrival of a galleon. The women, talking among themselves and looking at each other and the ship, are the main perspective of the view and are clearly seen. The galleon has a European flag on the main top-mast, main top-mast with sails. The ships stands several hundred yards from shore and the bowsprit faces the morning sun from the east. The day is clear and sunny with few clouds, the waters are blue, reflection of the sky. The women, are a mix of married and single status, with two married women wearing traditional short straw skirts as compared to the other five unmarried women. Their skins are tanned, hair is black and shoulder length and some wear only a small necklace. They observe the ship but are not disturbed by the image.
