1. Draw the Truck Draw a box truck from a side view with its back door open. Make the cargo area visible, with boxes or furniture inside. 2. Add the Ramp Draw a ramp extending from the ground to the back of the truck at a gentle angle. Use a solid line or light gray surface for the ramp. Label it: “Ramp”. 3. Show a Person Moving a Box Draw a person pushing a dolly or cart with a heavy box up the ramp. Show motion lines or an arrow pointing up the ramp with the label: “Roll up instead of lift”. 4. Contrast With Lifting Next to the ramp (or on the other side), draw a person struggling to lift a box straight up into the truck. Add a vertical arrow pointing up with the label: “Lifting – more effort”. 5. Add Mechanical Advantage Notes Near the ramp, add a label: “Ramp = longer path, less force needed” Optional caption box: Mechanical Advantage: The ramp spreads the lifting force over a longer distance, so pushing is easier than lifting. 6. Use Bright Colors and Labels Truck = gray or blue Ramp = light gray or silver Boxes = brown Arrows = red or green (for direction and effort) Labels = bold and readable See more
