The geometry of the city is maddening to look at. Walls refuse to meet at right angles, curving into impossible shapes or stretching into infinite, warped distances. Doorways have been replaced by gaping, maw-like orifices lined with grinding teeth, leading to shifting voids where light seems to simply die. Windows are not glass but shimmering, translucent membranes that pulse with an internal, greenish-black light, and beyond them, you see a swirling, starless void beckoning you toward it.
