Design Layout: Vertical Flow (Botanical Totem) Picture a delicate vertical line, like a natural vine or stem, with each of the seven species branching gently from it in a balanced, slightly asymmetrical rhythm. This keeps the design light and breathable while honoring each plant. Top to Bottom Arrangement: 1. Date Palm Frond & Dates * Fine arching fronds at the top to give movement. * A small hanging cluster of dates with subtle texture. 2. Olive Branch * Graceful curve with 3–4 pointed leaves and a couple of tiny olives. * Leaves are longer, narrow — adds softness to the flow. 3. Fig Leaf & Fruit * One iconic lobed fig leaf. * A single fig, slightly teardrop-shaped, hanging just below the leaf. 4. Pomegranate * Just one fruit — clean outline with a hint of crown. * Optionally a slight cross-section to show the seeds in delicate dot work. 5. Grapevine * A gently twisting tendril with two leaves and a tiny grape cluster. * Very fine curling vine lines to connect upward/downward. 6. Barley * Long, linear seed head with fine awns (the hair-like bristles). * Slightly more textured than wheat to differentiate. 7. Wheat * Classic vertical stalk, symmetrical grains with tiny strokes for detail. * Positioned at the base to anchor the design. See more
