Under the shadow of an ancient seaside volcano in Greece lay a small village. For many millennia the people lived questionable lives. Then, Ragnarok rised from the volcano. Ragnarok was a great and fearsome obsidian titan, for days the flames dispersed burning the outer forest. The villagers froze in shock. They ran to see the chief of the village shouting “What will you do about it? How can you protect us? You must do something!” “We must summon Endoclaw the tsunami god.” Then one day Ragnarok came thundering down the volcano, his great shadow looming over the village then he grabbed a pig in his cursed claws. Every day for a month the titan took a pig or a cow and were too powerless to stop him. For Endoclaw had not come yet. Then one day Ragnarok took a child, then another and another. The chief called a meeting, and the high council of the village was summoned. “Someone must summon Endoclaw and kill Ragnarok,” announced chief “Who will advance to the task?” But who in their small council was sturdy and strong-minded enough to summon a god. No-one wanted to volunteer. Someone nudged Krieg as he was big and burly, but he shoved them off. Someone said chief should go as he was head of the council. The chief was shocked and quickly came up with a plan. A bag was filled with red rubies, a ruby for every person in the council except one, then a sapphire was added whoever pulled out the sapphire would be the one to summon Endoclaw and kill Ragnarok.
