This picture is of a stage set as seen from the dress circle so not too close up. You can see the top and sides of the stage's proscenium arch. On stage on the left there is a hospital bed with a patient lying down in it but they are largely covered with blankets so you can only see the outline of their sleeping body and their face is turned away to the left. There is a visitor seated next to the bed on a small plastic chair with metal legs to the right of the bed. The visitor is a young woman about 35 with ash blonde hairnin a pony tail, wearing jeans, and sitting in the chair. The visitor is talking to the patient, even though the patient is facing away. The stage is mainly dark apart from the illuminated bed and the slightly better illuminated visitor. See more
