For my proposal, I am thinking of an island that is stuck in a sort of agricultural era or period. We have a vast amount of cattle for milk and meat, and 2 tall mountains with deep valleys with rich soil for crops. On this island, time tends to move faster, and there are occasional issues with food trade from other neighboring islands because by the time the food arrives on my island, there is a short shelf life on food due to this fast-paced, mystical time warp that surrounds the island. Due to food spoiling fast, my people rely heavily on our own resources, but will trade for things like metal and other resources. Our main source of revenue will be from selling meat, dairy (milk or cheese), and beer/ale from our vast crops of barley and hops. Additionally, with inspiration from the United States Marine Corps. I wanted to add an elite military force deep within the jungle. These warriors (yet to be named) are a revered fighting force that will protect their people and island from attackers and looters of our resources at all costs.
