my idea: so, i did some research to to try and find time and cost effective building materials and methods and her is my idea for the most cost effective homes. start by investing in the Apis Cor House Printer, which is the most cost evfective 3D printing construction machine. it only costs $27/m² which is a much better price compared to the traditional $75/m². then, for insulation i would use Cellulose Insulation, which only costs ~$0.50 to $1.00/ft² and is made of recycled paper making it not only cost effective but also eco-friendly! then for the roof i would use corrugeted metal roofing whitch is not only fairly cheep, but also really long lasting.it costs around $1.80- $2.50/ft² and should last up to 70 years. though upfront it is one of the more expencive options, it is the most durable giving it the best value over time. also for a foundation, even though it is on the more expencive side, i would do a crawl space to ensure that the house is safe. it is only around $7-$15/ft² so not to expencive. then for flooring i would use luxury vinyl plank because it is the most durable and cost effective in the long run. it only costs $1.75- $5.75/ft² and should last up to 25 years. though this is not including land costs, permits, utility hookups, and cost of labour this house would cost about $150,000 just to build. comparing this to the price of a traditional house of the same square footage and without the land costs, permits, utility hookups, and cost of labour, my home See more
