As you all know, since the films of the DC Extended Universe were met with poor reception, WBD CEO David Zaslav planned to revitalize the DC brand by hiring James Gunn and Peter Safran as co-chairmen and co-CEOs of DC Studios. Gunn and Safran created the DC Universe, a soft reboot of the DCEU that features the united continuity and story across live-action movies, TV, animation and video games. There is also DC Elseworlds, a series of adaptations that do not fit within the continuity. It will truly begin with "Superman: Legacy", releasing in 2025, and also start off with the animated series, "Creature Commandos". See more
