The Tragedy of Macbeth Split Portraits Task: Work independently or with a small group (no more than 4) to create a character portrait based on an analysis of Act I from The Tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare. Macbeth Assignment Details 1. Draw an image of your character(s): One half is realistic - what does your character physically look like? Make sure to include details such as eyes, nose, clothes, etc. The other half is metaphorical/symbolic. Please draw images either directly on or around your character that represent and respond to the three (3) prompts below. (You may use symbols to represent certain concepts i.e. - royalty can be represented through a crown): A. whether the character believes more in ambition or fate B. the actions your character has taken so far, and/or how you predict they will act in the future C. predict outcomes as a result of the actions the character has taken so far, and/or outcomes of what the character will potentially achieve 2.
