Salem is a dhampir who appears to be about 25, confident and cocky, tall and slender, and with pale skin. As a member of a royal court, he cares a great deal about his looks, so everything about him is kept neat and elegant. He keeps his dirty blond hair in a Viking style braid that reaches to the middle of his back and undercut, and his goatee is trimmed short. On one side of his head, within the undercut, are faded, parallel scars from the claws of a large animal. A pair of red-tinted, armless glasses obscure his red eyes, and a simple silver earring pierces the upper cartilage of one of his pointed ears. His clothing, made of the finest materials, consists of leather, shin-height boots, black buckskin pants, and black silk shirt.
