A heavily armored, dark TIE Fighter variant with red accents and large hexagonal solar panels against a black background.

an imposing and formidable sight Tie Fighter with a stark departure from the fragile elegance of standard TIEs. It maintains the iconic TIE central cockpit pod, but this module is notably larger and more heavily armored, appearing almost bulbous. The cockpit's transparisteel viewport is thick and narrow, giving the pilot a grim, focused view. Flanking this central pod are two massive, thick hexagonal solar array panels, significantly larger and more densely packed than those on a TIE/ln fighter. These aren't just solar panels; they are heavily reinforced structures designed to mount additional weaponry and house auxiliary power conduits. They are a darker, more ominous black than standard TIE panels, sometimes with a subtle red trim on their edges. Extending from the forward-outer edges of these main hexagonal panels are two smaller, secondary hexagonal panels, angled slightly forward and inwards. These secondary panels act as dedicated weapon hardpoints, bristling with emitter barrels. The entire structure screams "heavy ordnance delivery." The internal framework and connection pylons are thicker and more robust than standard TIEs, reflecting its heavier mass. Twin primary ion engines are mounted on the rear of the central pod, larger than typical TIE engines, projecting powerful blue exhausts. See more
