Any description of Bophelo must start with its walls. The first ring of the ancient walls of Bophelo rises to a maximum height of 18 meters with towers placed at every 60 degrees. The second ring of walls rises to 10 meters tall and together these form an absolutely impenetrable boundary. The one opening in the Ancient Walls of Bophelo is only accessible by a stretch of water in between the Bophelo Dam and its colossal main gate. Anyone trying to enter Bophelo must first arrive at the Dam and take a ferry to the gate. The Dam also allows the Little River to flow underneath the great city and all the way through to Lake Elix. The great Lake Elix forms another boundary for the city to its rear. It is believed that the point where the Ancient Walls meet the Great Lake is where the original Balmans decided to forge this great city. Within the city is a branching and complex system of canals which service the residential and commercial areas of the city. These canals and The Little River itself flow directly into the center of the City which is occupied by its massive hospital, Bophelo Healing Center. The hospital is only accessible by a pure Balman and is structured with concentric circles in a similar way to Hilltop Hospital. See more
